I had an excellent time at the Pirates game, though the sound was terrible because I was slightly behind the band. It was awesome, I clearly didn't pay enough attention and missed it on the site... I did email friendsoflive and they told me that they were told by the game promoters NOT to announce the show... weird.

The band sounded great, but the show itself was meh. They played in the middle of the field, while the crowd was in the stadium seating. We were actually behind the stage in left field, so we had to watch from the screen. And, of course, all the crowd knew was Throwing Copper material... Oh well...I have Eastlake to look forward to in a few weeks! We actually bumped into Ed, Adam and Pat outside the stadium as we were walking to our cars. Ed took a pic with my friend Aly and walked away before I could mutter anything...second time he got away before I got a freaking pic with him. But I finally got to meet Pat, so it's all good!
