Hey, just got back from the concert. It was great as usual except for the crappy venue!!! Too small a place and all I saw was the back of peoples heads. The last encore I was able to get an awesome view. Chad Taylor got a chance to talk and he dropped the f-bomb twice and he said he got engaged to his wife there.

It was friggin' awesome! 2 hour set. SO LOUD my ears still hurt. I liked hearing Taylor's stories. I think he liked telling them The pics for Mental Jewelry were taken in the Chameleon. I did not know that. I still don't like songs from Songs from Black Mt. But I like the funky, sexy little intros they gave them. I feel wierd during those songs, lol. Like lost maybe? Can't sing along and they feel out of place. But I sang along every other word! And did something I haven't done at a show in a lonnnnng time - lost part of my screaming voice! I thought Ed sounded a little off during White, Discussion. But the rest of the night he wasn't. And the rest of the boys never, ever were.

That was such an amazing show!! It was so awesome seeing them play on a stage that's half the size of my living room! The setlist was pretty standard to me but hearing them open with 3 songs from Mental Jewelry made it a great night!

I am so freakin' tired. Home by 3am and at work by 8:30am. It was all worth it though!! My 30th Live show couldn't have been more memorable with it being at the Chameleon and Chad T. talking about all his memories there. They sounded amazing! Oh...and Beth finally got her drum stick!!! It was so great to see all my Live buddies old and new!! I must take a nap now...I have to prepare for Allentown.

The show was fucking awersome!!!! Jen, I'm so glad I went. It was definitely worth the drive and the cost of the ticket! It was the best Live show I've seen in a long while. and it was really cool to get to see them at the Chameleon.

Amazing, Amazing show. I thought the boys looked a bit baked when they came out, especially when Ed was trying to discuss "Shit Towne"....wow, that went no where haha. But they sounded great, and had a ton of energy. Gotta love Taylor getting on the mic and talking about old times. Was so glad it was non smoking with that many people in there. And holy shit, I love the extended version of White, Discussion. Haven't heard that in awhile. Ed actually did the screaming part at the end again!! Only thing that sucked was the hour and half wait for the show, and the dickhead behind me that all but hated Live. Everytime they would start a song he would bitch about what song it was.

This was my first Live concert. I have been enjoying their music from the moment I placed "Mental Jewelry" into my CD player in college. I thought the club was over sold. However, I cannot tell you how great it was to listen to so many great LIVE songs. They band was polished. I thought the set list was exceptional. Love the concert, love the band, loved the experience.

The Chameleon show was nostalgic and had a special vibe since it was their first gig at their old stomping grounds since 1998. The club is small and has a lot of shortcomings when it's a packed house with the long and narrow setup on the main floor, but whatever. Anyone that complains about that should be slapped. Back in '98, I was in front by the stage. But last weekend, I was content to hang back a bit with a group of my friends. It was a good vantage point (with decent access to the bar!), and we had a blast. I was hoping the band would take the initiative to mix up the setlist, and they did just that by dusting off Mental Jewelry for the first 3 tunes of the nite. The rest of the set was standard and mainly the same batch of songs they've been playing out the past year or so, but that simple gesture at the beginning meant a lot and set the tone for the nite. I was looking for an old school Otter Creek opener, but opening with Operation Spirit ain't too shabby man. The band was amped up and played with passion and high energy. I know, I know... that's what Live is known for, but it seemed like they found an
extra gear. Probably because they were well rested and not touring extensively, and because it was a true homecoming. Great to hear Ed in top form again too, because he was really struggling with his voice the later half of '06. All in all, it was a memorable nite shared with good friends. One other point. One such friend (we'll call him Kyle, his real name), has been a
longtime fan of Live, but has soured on them over the last few records and the subpar shows he's seen in Baltimore (11/06) and York (2004). Even this pessimistic, critical bastard loved the show! In his defense, Kyle makes some good points about Live's flaws that have all been debated at length by the people reading this... I won't dredge that up now, because on this nite none of that really mattered. Live rocked, and I left my 40th show on a quite the Live high.
