I took my 8 year old son who loves Live too and we had front row seats so that was amazing. I couldn't believe how close we were, right in front of Adam. The venue appeared to be pretty full. We were right in front of the speakers but it wasn't as loud as I was expecting, I guess because it's so close to the casino. Anyhow, they played for about 1 1/2 hours maybe a little longer, 13 songs and then a 5 song encore. At first there were way too many people sitting down but the crowd woke up about half way through. I thought they sounded great and looked like they were having a good time. Ed's voice sounded awesome to me but my son said he sounded like a girl sometimes, lol. He never took his shirt off all the way, just unbuttoned it and was clean shaven. They did U2's Bad medley during Iris and that Love thing in the middle of I Alone which he dedicated to the troops in Iraq. Chad was stompin' like a madman and Ed got up on the risers and stomped with him during Lakini's Juice. We had a great time I just wish it would have been longer. Hearing Love Shines,Rattlesnake and Shit Towne with Ed doing the lead at the end were highlights for me. Everyone really got into Lightning Crashes which was a nice ending. I have to say I missed hearing Voodoo Lady, Show and White Discussion, if they'd have done those it would have been perfect. We hung around after for a bit and one guy gave my son a pick that had been thrown out, not sure if it was Adam or Chad's. He was very excited about that so thanks again if you read this! Then one of the crew gave him one too so that made his night. |

I was dissapointed in the weak setlist too. The sound was terrible at certain points. I swear there was a blown channel in the bass which was grossly distorted during Lakini's juice. Other than Ed asking the crowd 3 times how they were doing, he was not very connected. I thought they were bored and perhaps cut it short because of technical disgust. Having said that, I Alone and Heaven were the highlights. |

This was my first Live show and I have to say it was GREAT! I've been a fan since '92 so it was long overdue. Everyone in the band has great stage presence. I'm not the biggest fan of SFBM but the songs that they played off of it sounded fantastic Live. The setlist overall I thought was good. I was'nt expecting Iris, Shit Towne, or Love Shines so I was pleased. Of course there is always going to be songs you wished they had played but lets face it theres never too many surprises in thier setlists, I've looked at enough of them online to know. Also mentioned earlier in the thread by Randy, he said that the sound really sucked. There was a kinda background noise, but IMO it was'nt that bad, you could still hear all the istruments pretty clearly. Of course it was my First Live show so I have only the previous concerts I've been to to compare it too. Overall I was very pleased with the show, the money I paid for the tickets and the time it took to go. |

This wasn't the best LiVE show I have been to but what happened after the concert made it the best show ever! The setlist was short and I am very surprised Ed didn't take his shirt off at all. Very unlike him. Anyway, it was still a good show, I will never say they had a bad show. About 2 hours after the concert we were walking around the casino and who is standing in front of me? Ed and Chad. I get to chat with them for about 5 minutes and they signed my LiVE tattoo!! Ed let me rub his head and Chad let me cry in his chest while he was hugging me. I cried so hard for about 1/2 hour after. All I ever wanted was to meet them and I did with no other people around. I have been to many LiVE shows and all of them were great but this was the best show for me because I finally got to meet them and talk to them. Thanks guys for being so personal with your fans when they get that miracle moment!! |
