Rattlesnake was ok, mirror song was good, Iris was ok, White Discussion was ok. The rest of the show wasn't traditional rocking live. The guys do whats right for the crowd, and it was an older crowd, i am sure that Ed uses his voice as he can. The rest of the band is still tight and on time. |

I went by Revolution around 4pm yesterday and heard the boys do three songs for their sound check (Mystery, Sofia, and The River). Satisfied with the sound, the boys left the venue from the side door and a couple of us who were gathered outside got waves and some hello's. I enjoyed the show as well. At the start of the show, Ed mentioned that they were "throwing out the set list". My favorite song of the night was TSUFL in the encore. I love hearing the full version live, but I never get tired of hearing the piano version that is on the 2000 FOL Holiday Gift CD. |

I thought it was a mixed crowd. I dont know what older is. I am 36 and everyone was my age or younger. I thought Ed sounded very off and I thought the sound was not great. I have seen the Black Crowes there and they sounded awesome. BTW, the Revolution holds arounf 2,000. IIt was crowded-really a great venue for them. This was definetly not the best sounding show. CT killed it as always. And for the ladies that are wondering what Ed looks like. Full beard and a shaved head. He kept taking on and off his skull cap all night. And the shirt finally came off at the very end of White Discussion. |
