Absolutely amazing! I have seen Live 13 times and this was the best concert I have ever seen - absolutely amazing. They played 2 hours and the crowd was into it and we all rocked out with the boys. Good atmosphere and alot of fun. Can't wait to see them again very, very soon! |

Okey dokey. The night started with Ed saying, "We burned out set lists ... we don't know what we're gonna play tonight." Everyone at that point, as you might imagine, flipped their shit & we knew we were in for a good time. Nothing really was dramatically different, as far as the songs go, but I haven't seen them smile so much on stage in a LONG time. And I haven't seen Ed run around that much in a while too! I'd like to start by applauding the absence of Selling The Drama. THANK YOU!! I don't know what it is - the tempo of the song doesn't translate well from stage (for me, anyway). It's never memorable for me. Except back in 95 when they had the most literal light segments for Taylor's guitar part during the chorus. Feh. I was happy to realize that was gone. They opened with Mystery, Love Shines was next ... the rest is a jumbled mess in my head but at one point the went fron Iris right into Simple Creed & I think I wet myself. That was sick!!! First encore opened with The Dolphin's Cry. Second encore was Overcome (Ed by himself, with the piano track playing), then WD. Ed went off on his little speech about the review saying they were obscure and Taylor knocked into one of the spot lights on the floor. Once he realized he could fuck with them, he knocked one down right infront of me, ran to the other side, knocked that one down, ran back infront of me & knocked the 2nd down, then went back to his mic in time for "LOOK WHERE ALL THIS TALKIN GOT US BABYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY". He looked like he was pissed but you know it was the music taking control of his body. Fucking awesome. It was my 40th show - first time I caught a drumstick! yay! After the big bow, Adam caught my eye & waved. A nano-second later, he gave me this confused look as if to say, "what the hell are you doing HERE?" haha so cool. There's no other way I could lose my voice & my hearing and be happy about it. I fucking love their shows. |

Well I was at the Dallas show last night and it freakin' kicked major ass. Ed is his hotness was SUPERB as usual... I was fortunate to make it up fron and center right at the baricade! Whoa. They were CLOSE. Opened with MYSTERY... (did not enjoy their opening band...) Wish I could make the other shows!! |

I was at the Dallas show last night too. Not so lucky to make it front and center like I like it, but a few heads back left of center was good enough for me. It was one of the most amazing shows ever! Makes me wish I could road trip it down to Austin tonight to do it all over again. I've been looking at some of the recent setlists and reading some reviews... seems we're all getting some goodness on this tour - I can't believe we heard Mirror Song AND Iris - my two favorite songs and I was just beside myself - FABULOUS! |

I too was at the Dallas show and must say - OH MY GOD!!! What an incredible show!! I was shocked to see them do the encore after only playing for an hour, but then they came back with 7 songs and a second encore. Very pleased after that. I had been waiting 6 years to see them since they came with Counting Crows to Smirnoff in 2000. This show was well worth the wait. It was hands down the best concert I have ever been to by any band, and I've seen some good ones (Dave Matthews Band, Pearl Jam, Bush). I was so pumped after this show that I was ready to drive down to Austin the next day for that show, but couldn't. These guys put on the best concerts. If you have a chance, definitely go see them. My only complaint is that they don't come to Dallas very often. |

What an amazing night!! I have been a LIVE fan for as long as I can remember and it seems that each time I see them they are better than the last. Hard to believe I know! From the minute they hit the stage I was hypnotized by the sound of Ed's voice. The connection that Ed has with his audience is indescribable. It was cool to hear Iris and Mirror Song and of course ending with White Discussion left the crowd begging for more! PLEASE come back to Dallas!! Ed, you are beautiful!! |
