First of all, I'm a huge, huge, fan of Live since 1994, I discovered the band during holidays in Boston. I saw them in Le Bataclan in 1997. Nine years later, they're back in France, in the same place, a very great venue... but half-empty! The band is very badly distributed in France, I can't understand that... Nevertheless, the atmosphere was very very good during this
concert and the band was very receptive. I was a bit afraid because, to me, the last album is really average. I was afraid not feel again the power, the energy, the feeling of their music. But, wahhhh, even if the albums are not very good for the last years, on stage they're f**** always here. I'm almost 30, but I was 20 during "Lightning Crashes", "I Alone" or "Lakini's Juice". It was very very good, the energy was here, and the band seemed very happy to be here. I was very happy to see them so enthousiastic, they seem very close to each other after 20 years on the road. At the end of the show, I was singing "We all wanna dance with you" like a teenager to thank this band. This band walked with me during my musical learning, and I was so surprised they were with me yet this night. Thank you Live for the passion and the professionalism you bring along the roads. |
