Great show last night, the best I've seen them in the 6 shows I've gone to through the years. The energy was great and the encore seemed to go on forever. In fact, the main set was 105, and the encore was 55, making this the very first time I've ever seen Live play a two hour show (usually they're done within 90 minutes). Nice surprise to hear "Mirror Song" on the encore, that alone made the show worth it. |

Last Night was DEFINATELY the best Live show I have been to, and I have been to many over the years. For all of you who were there, the place had so much energy, and a great crowd in general. It was great to see Ed having fun. He was smiling the entire time, and the band seemed like they truly enjoyed playing. I spotted Howard Stern up on the right balcony, along with a bunch of children. There is something slightly odd about seeing a rock band perform, then looking over at their kids also watching!!! Hey, it is New York after all. I even saw Howard dancing and singing along to "shit towne". Funny, huh?
Again, great show, it was my husband's first one, and he had a great time. The only downfall was waiting 30 mins for our car in the lot--late night. Wow, I am getting too old!!!

I considered last nights show to be one of their best in a long time. It was good to see Ed and the boys back in the city and in rare form no less. The crowd and the set was just rockin'. My favorite moments "Bad" mixed into "I Alone", "Mirror Song" absolutely, seeing Chad T. doing the Chad stomp, actually hearing "Shit towne" when someone yells for through the whole show, also seeing Ed without shirt. A girls got to have her eye candy. |

It was definatly the best live show I've ever seen... and I've been to 5. The boys had sooo much energy and they were playing songs that I don't think I've ever heard in concert such as Rattlesnake and Mirror Song! It was amazing. My favorite surprise was the fact that Adam was actually up front for a change! I'm so used to seeing him in the background and here he was completely up front, right next to Chad and it finally felt like he was part of the band and not just backup! The boys rocked NYC's socks off!

I've been to more Live shows then I can count, and like always they band sounded great. Although the band sounded great and played for a long time, I must say I thought the crowd was extremely weak. It was not a loud crowd at all. In fact when the band left for the encores, there was barely any clapping. Did anyone else notice this? A friend of mine noticed, and he also
mentioned that the crowd was a lot louder at the Starland show a couple of nights before. I can't quote him, but I thought I heard Ed comment on the lack of crowd noise at one point during the show. As for Live's performance, it was the same as it always is, which means great. I thought the setlist was very good. They opened with Rattlesnake which is a great choice. I was shocked when they played Mirror Song, and it was great to see them not be so predictable when it comes to a setlist. Overall I would say the show was sub par compared to other Live shows I have seen. I say this because of the crowd which factors in, not because of Live's performance. |

My first Live show ever and I was totally blown away!!! Its one thing to see people who you love on tv and all but seeing them live and in living color at their best is just indescribable. I was right in front of Patrick and my boyfriend and I kept yelling out his name. haha. And guess what, my guy also caught me Gracey's drumstick. I'll cherish it for real. I also bought a t-shirt. The venue was awesome. Would definately recommend it. Hey, the band said they'd be back in the fall, so good times! Summary - the band rocked, everyone was on point, awesome show, definately going back, and ladies believe me Ed never looked better, hot, sexy and glistening from sweat; positively scrumptious, the whole place was totally on fire! Poor Shapiro dude, he tried, he was alright, nothing great but just alright. Some people were being a little mean to the guy, but hey it's NYC, the big rotten apple so what do you expect? I'm just rambling, just writing thoughts as they come. Ah, yes Shapiro's bass player looked a little weird like he just had some botox or some sort of mask on his shiny-assed face set in this perverted smile that made him look like at anytime he would throw the bass down and rape the girls in the front row. Crazy night, fun night, didn't get to meet anyone from here but I probably passed you guys and didn't even know it. Ah well. |
