This is the night where alot of Dutch fans have been waiting for, the Paradiso show! Such a great and small venue! It used to be a church. The support acts of the shows of Live are usually crap (in my experience), but this time it was great. A band from the UK called The Feeling. Live came 10 minutes before 9, they where in to it you could see. Patrick has lost a bunch of weight and he looks great! Chad T has a full beard and spikey hear, looks good on him. After every song Ed was cheering and giving hand kisses, just showing how much fun we all had. The setlist took my by surprise, The Beauty Of Gray, Shit Towne, White Discussion. The new songs sounded great, even Mystery, with the falsetto. I love Show and Sophia! They played almost 2 hours and I was completely sastified. Also got a setlist. A big plus to Live and thank you for coming here. PS this sentence by Ed has been stuck in my head since yesterday... he said after a song... you know we got this new album.. he waits a second and he said at his coolest ...it's f*cking goood! |

it was a good show.... not the best i've seen, but a good one nevertheless (spelling's shitty, i know). the setlist wasn't THAT good... they did play BoG and turn my head (which was a very nice surprise), and as usual, they rocked WD - taylor's bluesy improv in the middle of it was AWESOME. but again.. they can replace the way-overplayed songs such as all over you, lightning crashes etc. with something like- iris, pain lies, waterboy, otter creek, or other vintage ones. i was also kind of disappointed they played heaven and overcome. it really is about time they go over the setlist and change things a bit.
but it was a great concert overall. the boys were in a VERY good mood (you could see they were having fun) and the audience was amazing (esp. the enormous wall of noise that we were all making towards the end, when they were huddled on stage, figuring out what last song to play) and me, debby and laura had a LOT of fun! |
