Awesome energy, I stood in front and
to the side of Chad's Marshall stacks! Can I just say that the tone and sound of
his Kerrang (esp intro to Lakini's Juice!) ROCKS!!! I can't remember when his guitar
sound sounded so awesome. Of course I'm deaf in my left ear but it was so worth it.
Highlights from the show - Opening up with Like I Do again! Cool to hear that song
again it'd been a while. Also Operation Spirit was most excellent! During I Alone,
there was a slight collision on stage between Taylor and Ed, Chad ran into Ed with
his guitar while they were all going crazy. He almost stopped abruptly to apologized
but it was all good in the end he came over and gave Ed a buttsqueeze on stage as
a olive branch token. Other songs played (standard set) in no order - RTTW, Dolphin's
Cry, Turn My Head, Overcome, Beauty of Grey, Lightning Crashes, TSUFL - probably
missing a few others.
On a side note, Jimmy Gnecco and friend Static (hehe) were there last night. He seemed
to be enjoying the show. Can't wait for the new Ours album! ROCK AND ROLL. |
