A most excellent show, the rendition
of WD kicked some major bootah! Operation Spirit went over really well with the crowd
everyone singing along Did You Give It Up? Taylor had some technical problems with
this guitar early on but soon got back on track. I really liked the way Turn My Head
sounded, it makes me wanna put on SS and listen to it all over again from beginning
to end. Ed plugged the CD and DVD again and interacted quite a bit with the crowd. |

Show was incredible! There wasn't a
barricade and the stage was slightly taller than me, so I was standing back a bit.
Everytime Ed hit 'the pole' (which was immediately to my left) there was a crush
of girls trying to shove me UNDER the stage to get at him. At one point, a girl behind
me, who I ran into at my hotel later, grabbed his foot and pulled. I was trying to
alternately keep my balance against the thrust and avoid the heel of Ed's boot on
my forehead. Ed was being helpful and stretching his leg out further. I honestly
thought I'd have a bootprint to show for it. The pole dancing was cute, though. I
can't deny it. And I'm hating myself for not having a camera with me. I had TWO cameras
in the hotel room, but I figured I wouldn't be able to take them into the venue with
me, so I left them. The venue was really cool, held about 1,500 people. Although
I still maintain St. Pete has a higher percentage, per capita, of insane people than
New Orleans. WONDERFUL warm-up for Orlando! |
