The show was good as usual but a bit boring for me I think. I guess its just because I've seen them so many times now that seeing the setlist over and over in the exact same order just gets old. Ed didn't even play "All Along The Watchtower" which I was very dissaopointed in. The energy was good and there were alot of people there, more than usual for "On the Bricks" whcih was cool. The one nice surprise was Ed announceing that there will be a LIVE Greatest Hits album for christmas, that was pretty cool but after having a month off I would expect altleast some songs in a different order or something. If you want to see the setlist just look up any other show they have played this summer, its the same, Ed did play Overcome this time instead of Turn My Head though.

Overall, I think I will be sitting out the next few LIVE shows until they come up with something new. This was my 13th show and my first that I walked away somewhat dissapointed and unhappy!

LIVE's show last night was magnificent. i was right on the rail just a smidge to the right of Ed, between him & Taylor. Taylor was having some guitar issues but it didn't slow the show down any. As far as i could tell, with the exception of White, Discussion being conspicuously missing, the setlist has remained the same. (i'm SO not complaining!!;)

Ed said that he'd just been informed they had a Greatest Hits CD coming out "for Christmas" ... AND AND AND!! DVD OF EVERY SONG ON THE GREATEST HITS THING!!

He dedicated "Overcome" to everyone in Florida, in the path of Hurricane Charley and also to the troops in Iraq and said we should bring them home! (i agree)

I dunno if anyone else has said anything, but at the show in Atlanta tonight (which was awesome, and totally only 5 dollars), Ed said that the band just found out that a Live Greatest Hits CD/DVD set would be released just in time for Christmas. He didn't specify what would be on the CD (only singles, or singles and one or two new tracks?), but he did say that the DVD would have "every single Live video ever created."

Yay! Finally!

I was also a slight bit disappointed in the setlist...I was hoping for something a little bit different, but it was (I think) exactly the same set they played at City Stages in Birmingham, which was the last show I went to.

This was my 9th Live show, and probably my least favorite--though not really because of the band. They could stand up there and play the same song over and over and I would still walk away with that feeling of euphoria I get at every show.

My main beef was the crowd--yeah, there were a lot of people there, but a lot of them didn't give a flying crap about who was playing--we were standing right in front of this massive gathering of drunk guys who started an extremely violent moshpit, hurting a lot of people who were just there to try and enjoy the atmosphere and the music.

Now, I'm certainly not one to say people shouldn't mosh, but this wasn't a Slipknot show, it was LIVE! I sustained a mild concussion from someone landing on my head, and I missed about half the show just trying to fend off people hitting/elbowing/slamming into me. I knew I'd heard Ed say something about an album coming out, but I was so busy trying not to get knocked down or knocked out that I completely missed what he said about it. I was very upset that security didn't do a thing about it, and it basically ruined the show for me.

Next up is Big Spring Jam in Huntsville in Sept--let's hope the set list AND the concertgoers are better!

I also agree that it was a fabulous show! Just having Live right there close to home (I live near Atlanta) was awesome! Plus, the weather was nice...I was scared it might get rained out due to the hurricanes and such. I used a couple of winning tickets and meet n greets for this show, got all access passes, so I basicly stood by the stage and watched the show. Just getting pictures from this angle was pretty amazing. I'll post them in a day or so. I was lucky to not have to fight the crowd; it was looking pretty rough. I got to meet them and get pictures with the guys for the first time, which was pretty exciting for me! I met them in Charlotte, but they wouldn't allow cameras. They were really friendly and nice...a great experience!

The only thing I would like is to maybe hear White Discussion and more songs from Birds of Pray (like She or Out to Dry), just so I can hear them live.
