The show just flat out rocked. I've never seen a rock show this good and the boys seemed unusually energetic for playing their fourth night in a row. You guys can see the setlist and they played their old songs the usual way, but I'll give my opinion on the new songs for those who haven't heard them.

Mystery: This absolutely blew me away. This is not a *huge* rocker by any means, but it reminds me of a great classic mid-tempo rock song. I hadn't heard much about this, but I was stunned by its quality. This truly sounds like a totally new Live sound.

Love Shines: This was pretty good, but not as good as Mystery. Ed plays acoustic guitar on this, and I could see this sounding like a more interesting and energetic Sweet Release type of song.

Sophia: The one you guys had me so excited about. I was very much disappointed. It's a good song, but whoever said this one "rocks" is nuts. It is upbeat and is more rocking than The River, but it isn't rocking at all compared to all of the other new ones besides The River. I believe the chorus begins with "Sophiaaaa, I need yaaa" which is not too good in my opinion. Worthy song, but far from spectacular.

The River: We've all heard it, and from what I heard at the show, the song has no more promise than before. Still, I think it's good enough.

Show (this is indeed the official title): Stunned. Absolutely stunned. The verses are so insanely catchy and *different* in the notes that Ed sings, and the chorus is rocking. This was my favorite new song by a lot, and from just a first listen, may be my favorite Live song ever.

In a nutshell, the new songs vary from stereotypical HOT A/C to classic, up-tempo rock but without overbearing guitars. The River was clearly the worst song of the bunch and the most suited for HOT A/C, and Sophia and Love Shines I think will be considered by most to be average songs on this album. However, Mystery and Show alone have me considerably more pumped about this album than I was after I heard Heaven and Like I Do before Birds of Pray. I think this album will be like BOP-plus, in that it will have more pop than most would like, but will have a more consistent sound and a considerably more interesting and creative one at that.

Great show as always. I do like GA venues much better but for a seated venue there was still a lot of energy in the room. The guys sounded amazing. The guitar sounds seemed even better than usual. I really enjoyed the new tunes and cannot wait for the album in November. It was awesome that they played 21 songs. We got to hang out with the guys (except for CT) after the show and they were as friendly as ever. I especially enjoyed speaking with Adam. Overall, Awesome show!!!!

Show last night was incredible. The venue was very small & intimate & they could not have sounded any better than they did. Ed's vocals were flawless & he seemed to be at a really peaceful place. That shone thru in all aspects of this show. I was so glad to be a part of that crowd. The energy was great and I wish everything in life was that peaceful & charming. I am really looking forward to the new album. Ed told the crowd that the 90's were just a dress rehearsal (or soemthing like that) & that we need to wait & see what the upcoming years will bring. Can't wait... but it will be tough to beat Throwing Copper. It dosen't get much better than that. Thanks guys so much for an uplifting evening. Keep doing what you are doing & I will continue to be a fan forever.

Once again, an amazing show!!!! Great Venue!!! It was great they played so many songs. I think their "encore" was just as many songs as their "set list." I was also glad to hear songs that they normally don't play in concert. It was a great mix and the acoustics were great. (However, they could always be louder-especially during "White Discussion.) Their new songs were great also. (Maybe one or two "sleepers".) Can't wait for their new CD. What I enjoy so much about the band is that they cater to and "respect" their fans on a personal level. Last night, I think the band had as much fun as the ticketholders. Great Show! Hope to see them here again soon.

This is the second time we've had the pleasure of seeing the guys since we moved here from Indiana. Again they delivered a fantastic show! The new songs were polished and Ed seemed to be very into Sophia and really wanted the crowd to go there with him and enjoy his positive energy. The first encore was as energetic as the full show and Heaven, Shit Towne and Gray were well received. We were fortunate to get many great pictures and Ed was gracious enough to visit our hotel room prior to the show for a couple of pics, thanks again Ed. We have been diehard fans since Woodstock 94 and will continue to look for Live in our neck of the woods. Many thanks to Patrick for the aftershow passes and the good conversation. These guys are truly nice people and fun to hang with. Of course their music gets better everytime we see them.
