What a fun show! There is no fence at this venue, so those of us up front were right on the stage...at one point I asked Pat if I could push his pedals for him, and he said "no, those are all bad touches" and wagged his finger at me. The setlist was very similar to the atlantic city show the night before. They did not play Beauty of Gray or Dance with you, but otherwise I think it was all the same songs. The show was really fun, but lacking some of the energy of the night before. During Operation Spirit, Pat did the robot for a minute...he's such a goof! Ed seemed to lose track of where he was during Run Away...he abruptly stopped playing and looked at Chad, then picked up again and finished the song perfectly. He also forgot some lyrics during Sophia... he sang something like "I forget the words but you'll never tell..." and then continued with the song. Ed had his typical energy and played to the crowd, but definitely was upset with the sound at times... there were several moments of really horrible feedback for both Pat and Chad T. Chad G. was behind plexiglass due to the stage being so small. Overall it was, as always, a good show. If I had not seen the Atlantic City show the night before, I would've thought it was great. After hearing the 5 new songs (Love Shines, Mystery, Sophia, The River, and Show a Little Love (though for 2 nights Ed has called it just "show") I'm really starting to like them. I think The River should do well on the radio if it actually gets played. It's a perfect Hot AC song. I got to go to the aftershow with a bunch of other people and we all had a really good time. All of the guys were in great moods and were, as always, really gracious with all of us asking for autographs and pictures. I can't wait for them to come back to the area...I'm already psyched for another 3 concert weekend :-)

I didn't expect the baltimore show to live up to the A.C. show, and it didn't. I still thought it was an amazing show, just not on the same level as the A.C. show. I love the Ram's Head...but there were definitely some sound problems last night. it all started when they opened with All Over You, and Ed walks up to the mic to sing the first line, and you couldn't hear any of it. It seemed like the guys kept making gestures to the sound guy to turn something up or turn something down all night, but overall, they pulled through it.

The setlist was pretty much the same as the night before, minus a few songs. The great thing about the Ram's Head is that there is no barricade in front of the stage, so for the whole show, I was resting my arm on the stage right in front of Adam and Lakini's Juice was so much better considering i could feel every one of taylor's stomps. That has been and always will be my favorite LIVE song to see in concert...if they ever take that song out of the setlist, I don't know what i will do.

I know a lot of people are very skeptical about the new songs, but I have to admit that I loved them and can't wait to hear the new album. Sophia and Show are my favorites, with the River being my least favorite, although I still think it's a good song.

Overall, another great show!!

OK show...not great...the two problems were 1) sound problems, and 2) the guys, specifically Ed and Chad T, being WAY too "drunk" (we'll use that term to include a multitude of possible conditions/combinations.. I have my own theories, but...) to compensate for problem #1.

It was WAY too loud in that place, or at least where I was standing about 10 rows back...I love a loud show and am usually bitching it's not loud enough, but christ almightly...it was LOUD...it was actually painful...

And having seen many, many shows now, I've seen the guys on stage hammered before...but never as bombed as they were on Monday night...freaking train wreck...personally, I think it's fun to see and I hope and am sure the fellas enjoyed themselves Sun and into Mon, but that generally doesn't lead to a very crisp performance...all of the slow songs, or bascially any song that required vocals and couldn't just be screamed, suffered big time...

On a positive note, Operation Spirit was PHENOMINAL...one of the best songs I've seen them do EVER, which is saying a lot...and sober Gracey was amazing again, or shall I say as usual...I kinda feel bad for the man dealing with 4 drunks...

Good show, not great...certainly didn't live up to AC the night before...

By the way, the manager advised us in route when we had to call for directions because I-95 was shut down that LIVE would be doing an extended set list to compensate for the lack of opening band that couldn't make it...I believe that "extended set" went right down the tubes with their severely inebriated condition...oh well...drink up boys!!

I had a good time at the show. I definitely agree that the sound sucked. The guitars were muddy and way too loud for the vocals. I don't know if it was just cause we were up front next to the speakers or if the whole place sounded like that. But I've been up front at Rams Head before and not heard it sound like that, so something was up. Otherwise I think it was still a good show. I love the new song 'Show' that was awesome! The other new ones were alright, but I really couldn't make out most of the lyrics so I don't know totally how I feel about them yet. For me it was just good to see the band again cause it's been so long. Lakini's Juice and White Discussion were amazing as always, and I had a great time. Can't wait to see them again!

The venue was great and overall the concert was very good, especially White Discussion, Operation Spirit and Lakini's Juice. I have to admit that I am quite disappointed in the new songs. Show and The River seem to have some potential, but the others seemed to be below par for Live. I'm starting to get the feeling that I will have to deal w/ mediocre Live albums from here on out. Of course, I'll still buy the album and give it a shot, but as of right now I'm a little concerned w/ the direction. Although a nice big, juicy B-Sides album would ease the pain....

And was there some sarcasim in Ed's voice when he said that they worked very hard on this album? They finished it in like 3 weeks? Maybe this should be Ed's solo album and not a Live album??? Just my opinion of course....

After an AMAZING show in Atlantic City I didn't think it could get much better, but for me personally, it was. The energy, interacting, talking to the audience, number of songs, overall concert experience was better in AC, but Baltimore has to go down (to date) as my favorite. I was able to stand to the right of Ed's mic stand (towards Chad T.) resting my arms on the stage. Never been able to do that before at any concert.

The sound was a bit off, as has been said, when Ed starting singing All Over You, you couldn't hear him. I wanted to keep my arms off the stage since Ed was right in front of me and he and Chad kept coming right there and I didn't want to interfere with their performance. But it was kinda funny to almost constantly have Ed right in front of me and have his sweat dripping on my head. Haha, I'll never be that close again. So after one song, I don't remember which, but I think it was I Alone, I have my elbows resting on the stage and I'm clapping or something looking up at Ed with probably a goofy grin on my face. He reaches down and takes both my hands, pulls my arms up towards him, and then just holds my hands for what seemed like a minute, it was probably only 20 seconds, but it felt longer. I'm sure after that I had an even bigger goofy grin on my face.

I had brought a necklace for Ed of Ganesha, the Hindu Deity. I think it was after Run to the Water I was able to give it to him. I was holding it up and he sees me, but I guess he couldn't make out what it was because he was squinting and looking at it. I think he liked it because he made the cutest wide-eyed expression, said noooo, oh thank you, thank you, walked back to the amps, kept looking at it, kissed it, put it on, and then came back over to show me his Ganesha ring. Which was BEAUTIFUL! I was awestruck, to say the least.

I wanted the chance to show my appreciation for everything he has given to me over the last eleven years and give him something that is important to me, but something I thought he would appreciate and enjoy. I was able to do that with Chad T. the night before (but more on that in a moment).

I was able to get my set list signed and pictures. I had given Taylor a book the night before when we ran into him walking through the casino. I'm not good at expressing myself in the presence of the band, I freeze up and the words never come out like they're supposed to or I say something extremely dumb. (Like telling Gracey thank you for signing my guitar stick, what was that and why did it have to come out of my mouth?!?! HAHA) But Taylor was so nice; he said he hadn't had a chance to read the book yet. How cute is that? I didn't imagine he had, it had only been overnight and he was busy. haha So I got a great big hug again, the one's he's known for. He said he had seen the book before (it's called BE) but had never read it. I remember after reading one of his last diary posts on FOL (before they were taken down) about his spiritual journey, it just reminded me of that book. He then went on to talk about how important it is to actually be in the now and that's what 10,000 Years Peace is Now is about. I said "exactly" and he laughed and said "listen to her, exactly, she knows."

I talked to Ed and got a great big hug, kiss (on the neck), and pictures. He was still wearing the necklace and said how much he liked it. He'd had a few beers so he was very talkative and funny. But even tipsy, that man can impress you with what he knows about spirituality and inner peace.

Gracey, Patrick, and Adam were extremely nice. I congratulated Gracey on the new marriage and asked Adam about his new album. And Patrick talked about not knowing anything about the new album, just that he does what "big brother tells me." It was a great weekend all around.

I agree that the sound sucked ass! I had really expected the sound to be top notch since the two shows that I have seen there before had such a good quality sound. We did score a great spot in front of Adam and it was very cool that there was no barrier. That was the only Live show that I have ever been to where that was the case. As for the new songs, I did really like "Show" a lot and also "Mystery" but the rest of them really did not do much for me. "The River" was actually quite dull, I thought. I also thought the guys were lacking their usual energy which I'm thinking must be a result of the show in AC the night before. Overall it was not one of the best Live shows that I have ever seen but I did still have fun. Plus we got White fucking Discussion!!!!!

It was great, high energy, band interaction=awesome. I really didn't care what the heck the sound was like as long as i could see my boy Gracey beating the skins. In my opinion I had the best spot in the house, the closest one on the balcony on the left hand side of the stage. I could have spit on Pats head if i wanted. The whole show Gracey was looking up at me and I would give him a thumbs up and he would give me thumbs back. I finally threw him a napkin which asked for a drumstick/drumhead, and he signaled for me to wait a minute. After Dance With You he came over to me and threw me up a drumstick before anybody else. It was great.
