This was one of the best Live shows
I've ever attended! I was one of those fans that rushed the stage and had to
go back to my seat after they sent the State Troopers after us! In my own defense
though, when people sit down at a Live show it really pisses me off for some reason!
Especially when they're sitting in the front row! I mean what is wrong
with these people?! Anyway I don't think I could love Ed more right now for
doing what he did for us! I spent the rest of the show third row center! I
felt like Ed was playing just for us! They sounded awesome too! And I
got to meet Adam after the show! Such a sweet guy! All in all a fantastic
night!!!!!!!!!!!!! Can't wait to do it all again! |

Great show! LOTS of broken guitar strings
(both Chad and Adam)!!! Chad seemed to be having effects problems all night and he
even flicked off a tech (who was standing offstage, but I'm pretty sure it was a
tech).
Did you notice that during the encore that Adam broke a string RIGHT AFTER the band
came in to accompany the acoustic?
Still, an awesome show! And the fireworks afterwards were great! You could even tell
how many came from Pennsylvania because as soon as he mentioned the state the crowd
erupted!!! Reminded me of the time I drove for hours to see them at Mansfield University
(PA) back in the Throwing Copper days.
And major cool points to Ed for berating the security guards for hassling fans (I'm
still not sure what all of that was about).
I leave you with these parting words from Ed... "the women always win!"

I was surprised the song selection...No
Pillar of Davidson :-( or The Distance. Lightning Crashes wasn't played until the
encore either!!! On the bright side though...this is the first concert that I heard
the Beauty of Gray and that was spectacular. I was a little upset at the crowd because
most of them would only stand when Live's most popular songs were being played. For
the first three or four songs I was one of four people standing up in the first thirteen
rows in my section. Those people didnt deserve to have such good tickets! Unfortunately
I left my camera in the car too and the parking lot was too far away to get it. Stupid
me, stupid me! Independent of some of my stupid mistakes and the majority of the
audience's lax concert-going....this concert ruled. The venue was very cool and there
were fireworks after the show as well. Although I would have traded them in in a
heartbeat for a longer setlist. |

here are some of my thoughts on the
show in delaware:
the police moved everyone back to their seats and ed said "hey officer, you
just moved back the most excited fans that we've seen in three days. everyone come
back up front, which they did and then ed said" now we have a rock concert"
very cool move on ed's part
i loved the setlist, good mix of BOP and classics. ed's voice sounded amazing. one
very good sign was the entire crowd sang along to Heaven. so you know that people
are hearing it somewhere
one other thought
how the hell does LIVE find these places to play??? i mean tractors were pulling
shuttle cars to the front door. hey guys, how about you come to a big city like philly
and play the electic factory or the tower for a change |
