I was extremely surprised to hear Overcome
with Ed all by his lonesome and all the songs played from Birds of Pray sounded amazing.
I would say the crowd was fairly decent. They went crazy on all the well known songs,
of course, but I have to be honest and say that I don't think I've seen a crowd go
as crazy during Lakini's Juice as this one. People were going nuts.
Just thought I'd like to add..the highlight of my night was definitely when this
guy, in a weak attempt to maybe hit on my friends and I, decided to quiz us on Live
trivia. The first question the braniac throws out is "Ok, if you're such a big
fan, can you guess which of the 2 albums I own?" Hmm...must have been all the
$4 beers he was drinking. Poor fella, some people just don't know.... |

So I agree that the crowd was fair.
Not great, but not terrible. It did help that the beer flowed like wine. And Live
does cause the women to instinctively flock like the salmon of Capistrano.
The set list was identical to Philly. I love opening with Like I Do. Great little
reverb to give you time to run to your spot infront of the stage! I could have used
a faster closing song.
Ed was his usual cheery self inspite of birthday craziness the night before. Chad
G was a little hidden behind the lights, but he always makes sure he is heard. And
Adam was out from his corner over by Gracey and hung out to the left of Chad T. It
gave him more room to practice his "rockstar moves" for when Adam and The
Weight tour!
Fun show. No complaints...ok well just one. I wish Ed could clone himself so the
harmonies in Lighthouse would be as big as they are on the album. But that is all.
Oh and this goes out to the little Hoosier boys who think they can pick me and my
friends up at Live shows. Might not want to try to slow dance with fanatic Live fans
during songs like Lighthouse, Lakinis Juice, and Life Marches On. And you might want
to have all your teeth. |
