I always have mixed feelings when it comes to seated venues, well because they have seats. It's nice that you don't have to wait in line for hours to secure a front spot, but that's about it. We had tickets for the 4th row right orchestra on Taylor's/Adam's side and they weren't too bad. When I saw that the first 3 center rows were reserved I thought to myself those peeps are going to be sitting down the whole time. Anyway when LIVE came on you could easily count the number of peeps standing. The sound wasn't right; you would think a venue like that would have their sh*t together...I was still having a good time as my expectations for the show weren't that high to begin with, I saw it as a warm-up for the Anaheim show tonight The best part of the night was when during "Run Away" 90% of the peeps in the front center 3 rows got up at the same time and just left...so all the hardcore fans ran to the front. We ended up 2nd row dead center surrounded by peeps who were standing, singing and rocking out The setlist was the same than in Fontana minus "Shittowne". Ed replaced "Overcome" with "Turn My Head" which was very nice it's such a great song. They ended the encore with LC...yes again no WD. Ken, the guy next to me and I screamed for it again and I am really really really hoping they will play it tonight. Oh yes, almost forgot about the drumstick. Woohoo!!! Ken probably caught a dozen+ over the years and we gave most of them away, but this one is my first self-caught one

Wow what an awesome show last night!!!! Much Much MUCH better than the Fontana show last month. The sound was great (my opinion). It did seem like Ed was getting upset though because he couldnt hear through his ear peice or it was too loud. It looked like he had to tell the Sound Engineer to turn Adam up like 4 times!!! Much of the crowd was dead. That is SOO f'ing irritating, im sorry. But I paid 45 dollars to stand up and dance and enjoy the music, not sit on my ass. I snuck up to the 7th row in the center and I was asked like 4 times to please sit down so the people behind me could see!!!! I was soo pissed. To hell with them. You know what I did? I turned around and said im not sitting on my ass like you lazy F'ers, but agreed to change my seat, because I am kinda tall. I took my brother who just got out here on leave from the Air Force. He had a great time. I had a great time. I didn't even spend $8.50 for a cup of beer! Im a good boy. At the end, I got a finger on a drumstick. A damn finger!! and the kid who did get it was sitting on his ass....go figure. That shit just aint right. The band needs to play longer too. 1 1/2 hours just isnt enough!!! They have so many awesome songs they should play for 2 1/2 hours. They have 6 albums for petes sake!! Oh well. I just dont see the big picture. Im a greedy fan. Anyone else agree the opening act (Scott Fisher Band) was cool other than the fact they bored me to tears. And what is with his Enrique Inglesias look??????? ~~puke~~
What I saw and liked the most was about halfway through Live's set, I saw a large number of people coming together towards the front of the stage. For awhile I felt like I was the only one standing up in the center (forgive me if you were there and rocking out, I just dont have eyes in the back of my head). But up front it was just dead. There were like 4-5 people at first rocking out. The Left Orchestra side was starting to rock as with the right, but the center was dead. Who the F got Center Orchestra tickets????? Anyways like i said earlier, I changed seats and went to the center. I finally started to see true Live fans get crazy. It took awhile, but towards the end of the show, I saw almost the entire front of the stage just rockin@!@@ You guys kick ass!!! Ed did a great job getting the crowd into it (as much as he could). By the end of the night, I felt much energy by the crowd. Did you all look back and see how many people showed up!!! I was truly surprised and excited to see that most of the seats filled up. I figured there was at least 5,000 people, but I was thinking there was more by the end of the night. Probably about 8,000. This was one of the best Live shows ive seen. F the silent people in the crowd. Im talking about the music! Chad Gracey started going off on the drums at the end of a song (forgive me for not remembering, i was just so mezmorized by the whole thing) Ive never seen him play that fast on rolls and fills. Well Live, you've proven once again, you are true leaders in the industry, and set a very positive example for aspiring musicians. Keep up the intensity, and originality. I look forward to seeing you again!
