Although I was standing far away, without
a really good view on the stage, it was a kickass show as ever, and it would've blown
away every single Bon Jovi-Fan, IF
1. they weren't using "Like I Do" as opener...Hey...they're "Bon Jovi
Fans"!! It is without a doubt a great song, and they shouldn't hide it, but
as the introduction to an introduction? Could've been put to another place...Ok,
perhaps I'm wrong....
2. (and worst) they were able to mix their sound. I don't know, if the Bon Jovi sound
engineers are responsible for this attack at the listeners ears, but the heights
were way too loud (overridden? someone should teach me this language). In the middle
of songs the engineers tried to play a little with the mix, and the sound changed,
but i wasn't really getting better... I'm very sad about it, I'm sure this frightened
a lot of possible new live-fans..
Nevertheless a few people around me (who were definately Bon Jovi-fans) applauded,
so I don't think everything is lost ;-)
Now I'm finding myself sitting in my dark room, whining about not being able to go
to headlining shows in Germany... |
