| LIVE have confirmed 3 more new tour
dates! On February 28th and March 1st, LIVE will be performing at "Caesar's
Tahoe" (Main Showroom) in Lake Tahoe, NV. There will be no opening acts for
these dates. And on March 30th, LIVE will be performing at Dickinson College in Carlisle,
Pennysylvania. Doors will open at 7pm for this concert, with LIVE slated to go onstage
at 8pm. Tickets will cost $10 for students and $15 for the public. Ticket on-sale
info for all the above dates will be added to the site as it becomes available. As
announced in an update yesterday, LIVE have reschudeled the concert at Ithaca College
in Ithaca, New York (originally scheduled for December 8th) for March 29th. Doors
will open at 6:30pm for this concert, with LIVE expected to begin at 8:45pm. Ticket
info is not currently available for this event, but will be added to the site when
it does. Tickets for the March 22nd concert at Universal Studio's in Orlando, Florida
go on-sale through Ticketmaster tomorrow morning at 10am EDT... a link to purchase
tickets is located in the Tour Section.
Doors will open at 7pm for the March 27th Lincroft concert, and doors will open at
7:30pm for the March 26th Plainview concert. If you're interested in hearing samples
of the 2 new songs performed at the recent November concerts, make sure to stay tuned
to the "New Song Recordings" thread in the Message Board. Entries for the FansOfLive
Contest must be received
by late tonight/early tomorrow, in order to qualify. The winners will be announced
sometime next week, depending on the amount of time it takes to go through all the
entries. And a mp3 of "Pillar Of Davidson" (acoustic version) has been
added to the Featured MP3 Section.

| LIVE have confirmed a new tour date
for March 27th at Brookdale Community College (Collins Arena) in Lincroft, New Jersey.
Tickets for this concert, which is slated to begin at 8pm, are on-sale now, and are
general admission (standing room) and cost $32. A link to purchase tickets, as well
as event info, have been added to the Tour Section.
"Friends Of Live" have added a video of Ed talking about the new album
(available in 4 different formats) to the Media Section of their site. And tickets for the March 26th concert
at "The Vanderbilt" in Plainview, New York have gone on-sale. A link to

| As announced in an update yesterday,
the concert at "The Vanderbilt" in Plainview, New York (postponed from
December) has been rescheduled for March 26th. Tickets from the postponed date will
be honored at this concert (new tickets have yet to go on-sale however). Baltimore-based
"Lake
Trout" will be opening
for LIVE at this concert, which is slated to start at 7:30 pm. More information on
this concert has been added to the Tour Section.
Stay tuned for more tour dates to be announced soon! As announced in an update on
Monday, ticket and event info for the March 22nd concert at "Universal Studio's"
in Orlando, Florida has been added to the Tour Section.
A new date has been added to the TV Section...
LIVE will be performing "I Alone" during a re-airing of "Saturday
Night Live" February 19th on the Comedy Central network. A mp3 of "Graze"
(from the "Secret Samadhi Radio Broadcast") has been added to the Featured
MP3 Section. Lancaster-based
"Falcon
Jones" (whose latest
cd was produced by Chad Taylor) will be performing at the legendary "CBGB's"
in New York on February 20th at 7pm (Chad is supposed to be there, too). The Live

| Time is running out to enter the FansOfLive
Contest, for the possibility
to win a ticket and/or pass to meet LIVE at the concert of your choice! If you haven't
gotten your entry in yet, make sure to get it in by this Friday (January 31st)! A
cool mp3 of "Dance With You" (includes each band member performing a "solo"
at the end) has been added to the Featured MP3 Section. And I plan on updating most of the site over the next month or so,
to make the site more "user friendly". I do not plan any major changes,
the main goal is to fix up the site for more optimized browsing. |

6 Section. I have added
some of the missing lyrics to "Life Marches On" to the Assorted Lyrics Section. A mp3 of "Lakini's Juice" (acoustic version) has been
added to the Featured MP3 Section.

| I have transcribed the lyrics from
"Life Marches On" (new song to be featured on Album 6) and have added them
to the Assorted Lyrics Section
(these lyrics are not the official lyrics, however). Also, a big thanks to Ed Kowalczyk,
who corrected me on a few wrong lyrics I had for "Like I Do" (I have updated
the "Like I Do" lyrics page in the Assorted Lyrics Section to reflect these corrections). For the last 27 years, the "Rolling
Stone" magazine have had readers vote for their favorite "Artist of the
Year". Now, they are asking you to choose just one of these 27 artists. As some
of you may know, LIVE were the "Artist of the Year" in 1995, so they are
listed on this poll. Make sure to hop on over to the "Rolling Stone" site and vote for LIVE now (you can vote
1 time per day)! A mp3 of "Good Pain" (includes "Morning Has Broken"
medley) has been added to the LIVE Concerts Section (this is the fourteenth and final song from the 2/27/93 concert at
"University of Rhode Island" in Kingston, Rhode Island). Make sure to download
mp3's from this featured concert now, as they I will begin to remove them soon (in

| LIVE's upcoming concert in Orlando,
Florida on March 22nd will be part of Universal Studio's Mardi Gras celebration.
There will be no seating, and the concert will be held on the main stage near "Cafe
La Bamba" and "Mel's Drive-In" inside the park. Although ticket on-sale
info for the concert has not been announced yet, you will be able to see the show
through the purchase of a regular day pass to Universal Studio's park, which is $51.95
plus tax (this has not been officially confirmed, however) [Thanks to Robin of Florida
for this info]. A mp3 of "Pain Lies On The Riverside" (the thirteenth song
from the 2/27/93 concert at "University of Rhode Island" in Kingston, Rhode
Island) has been added to the LIVE Concerts Section. The Live Lounge Newsletter (Issue 73) was sent out today... if you

| The "2002 FOL Holiday Gift"
has started to arrive at homes around the world. This years gift is a cd of various
live recordings, but it doesn't contain any new songs (the full tracklist is located
here). The "98 Rock" radio station in Baltimore, Maryland recently
had a countdown of the "Top 98 Songs of 98 Rock" on New Years Day, which
featured "All Over You" coming in at number 78... the full countdown list
is located here. A mp3
of "Lightning Crashes" and "Waterboy" (the sixth and seventh
songs from the 2/27/93 concert at "University of Rhode Island" in Kingston,
Rhode Island) have been added to the LIVE Concerts Section. And 4 new rare acoustic recordings from the 5/18/92 "2 Meter
Sessions" in The Netherlands are now available for download over at "Where
Fishes Go". |

Of Live" has informed
everyone that the "2002 Friends Of Live Holiday Gift" will be shipped out
to everyone (from their office) by Monday (January 6th) at the latest. A mp3 of "Stage"
(the third song from the 2/27/93 concert at "University of Rhode Island"
in Kingston, Rhode Island) has been added to the LIVE Concerts Section. Details on the new contest that were to be announced today will
be delayed until Friday (January 3rd), as I am still in the process of working them
all out. Happy Birthday to "Mental Jewelry", who turned 11 years old yesterday!
