New tour date scheduled for Michigan
Live will be performing at the Muskegon Summer Celebration in Muskegon, Michigan on June 29th. Passes will be available at the annual Taco Bell Pass Party to be held on May 21st at the LC Walker Arena in downtown Muskegon. I have posted the setlists and some fan reviews from the recent concerts held last week to the Setlist & Review Section. Connecticut's 96.5 TIC-FM radio station has added a bunch of new pictures from Ed's solo performance on April 21st at the Acoustic Cafe Sessions to their website. The WJSE (Digital 102.7) radio station in New Jersey has added a bunch of new pictures from Live's concert on April 23rd at Trump Marina to their website. More info on Live's homecoming show in York
Live's concert at The Strand in York, Pennsylvania on May 28th will be part of their 20th anniversary celebration. Tickets will go on-sale tomorrow (April 28th) at 11 am EDT via the box office at the venue (the box office phone number is 717-846-1111.). Tickets will cost $45 for the first 6 rows, and $34 for every other row. This concert will benefit the Student Ticket Subsidy Program and Access York, a women's shelter in York. Live to perform special hometown show in York
Chad Taylor appeared on Harrisburg's 105.7 "The X" radio station this evening. Chad announced that Live will be performing a very special hometown show at The Strand (The Strand-Capital Performing Arts Center) in York, Pennsylvania on May 28th. There will be special guests at this concert, including Shelby Lynne and Don Carne, among others. Tickets for this show will be going on-sale soon. New tour dates scheduled for Georgia and Maryland
Live will be performing (along with 3 other bands) at the "Aquafina On The Bricks" festival at Centennial Olympic Park in Atlanta, Georgia on August 13th. Tickets for the this concert, which will be $5 and will be available starting May 6th, can be purchased by calling 1-800-594-TIXX. Live will also be performing (along with 3 other bands) at the "McDonald's Sessions" festival at Merriweather Post Pavilion in Columbia, Maryland on August 14th. Live will be performing at The China Club (on West 47th Street) in Manhattan on May 3rd. This private show will be part of WPLJ's "Up Close And Personal" concert series. Live to perform at the Gypsy Tea Room in Dallas?
Dallas' Mix 102.9 (KDMX) radio station has announced on their website that Live will be performing at the Gypsy Tea Room in Dallas, Texas on May 27th. As posted in an update on April 17th, Ed also mentioned that Live may be performing at this show. However, there hasn't been an official confirmation of this date as of yet, but it will be posted here on the site if/when it is confirmed. Ed mentioned at the April 14th autograph session (held at the Solstice Sunglass Boutique in Dallas, Texas) that Live may be performing on May 27th at the Gypsy Tea Room in Dallas (however, this has NOT been officially confirmed). He also mentioned that he is working hard on a new DVD of Live material, and hopes to have it released by the end of the year. Live have confirmed that they will be performing on July 2nd at the Rockin' The Hills festival in North Dakota, which is a 4 day music festival that takes place at the foothills of the Turtle Mountains. Exclusive performance of Heaven appears on new compilation CD
On April 6th, Chicago's 101.9 FM "The Mix" (WTMX) radio station released a new compilation CD, titled "Mixclusives Volume 4", which features unique performances from 13 various artists. A unique version of "Heaven" is among one of the tracks that appears on this new cd. Chad Taylor to appear on Harrisburg area radio station on Monday
Chad Taylor will be appearing on the morning show on the Cool Pop 106.7 (WCPP) radio station (in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania) on Monday morning (April 12th).  According to John (aka "chook") of York, Pennsylvania, the promo that they're playing for Chad's upcoming appearance says something along the lines of "you all know about the band Live, but we're gonna get inside and find out about Chad Taylor, the family man". More information on Maryland concert
Live will be performing at the Rockville Street Festival in Rockville, Maryland on May 29th. This festival is located at Maryland Route 355 (Rockville Pike) & Maryland Avenue in downtown Rockville. Admission to the festival is free, with no age restrictions. Recently reunited Gin Blossoms and a local band will be opening for Live at this concert. Live is expected to perform around 8:30 pm. Looking for fans to record Hartford and Houston radio broadcasts
I am looking for fans to record the live radio broadcasts of the upcoming acoustic shows in Hartford and in Houston (it is not known if the Houston concert will be broadcast live, but the Hartford one will be). The Houston, Texas show will be held at Club Roxy on April 13th, and is being sponsored by Houston's Mix 96.5 radio station (takes place between 6 and 8 pm CST). The Hartford, Connecticut show will be held on April 21st, and is being sponsored by the 96.5 TIC-FM's radio station (event time is not currently known). There will be an internet pre-sale via Ticketmaster for tickets to Live's concert on July 7th at the House Of Blues in Anaheim, California. The pre-sale will begin on Wednesday, April 14th at 10 am, and end on Friday, April 16th at 10 pm. On-sale to the general public will begin on Saturday, April 17th at 10am. Ticket prices will range from $33 to $35. This concert will be a General Admission show. Doors will open at 7 pm for this show, with the concert slated to begin around 8 pm. Ed interviewed on WWZZ radio station in Washington, DC
This past Wednesday (March 31st), Ed Kowalczyk was interviewed on the "Brett Haber In The Morning" radio show on the 104.1 FM (WWZZ) radio station in Washington, DC. Ed mentioned in the interview that the tour dates scheduled for this spring are just a "warm up" for their upcoming summer tour, which will be a more extensive tour of the US, to take place around mid to late summer. I have just received word that Live will be performing at the House Of Blues in Anaheim, California on June 7th, and at Summerfest in Milwaukee, Wisconsin on June 26th. These dates will be officially confirmed by Friends Of Live shortly. Tickets for the Anaheim concert will be going on-sale via Ticketmaster in the near future.
